Chairperson/Ombudsman & Secretary General- African Ombudsman & Mediators Association (AOMA).

Hon. Florence Kajuju, is the Chairperson of the Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman) and 2^nd Ombudsman of the Republic of Kenya from 2^nd August 2018 to date.

She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 25 years’ experience on the bar. She holds an LLB degree from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma KSL.

Before appointment to Chair the Commission on Administrative Justice, she was the Women Representative for Meru County in the 11^th Parliament and former Vice-Chairperson of the Law Society of Kenya recognized and awarded the Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS) on the 9^th December 2011.

In Parliament she was the Chair of the Committee on Regional Integration and Ad-Hoc Committee on Miraa, Member, Justice & Legal Affairs and House Business Committee.

She is currently the Vice chairperson of the Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices Forum.

Hon. Kajuju is the Secretary General of the African Ombudsman and Mediators Association(AOMA) and Board Member of the African Ombudsman Research Centre (AORC) based at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, South Africa.
