A complainant, Fredrick Onyango, lodged a complaint at the Commission’s Mombasa Regional Office alleging delay by the Hon. Attorney General to advance a payment of Kshs776,050 following a court decree issued in his favour on 31st July 2018.
The Commission by way of inquiry took up the matter with the Attorney General. In his communication to the Commission on 29th September 2021, the Attorney General confirmed having received the settlement funds from the Ministry of Interior and processed the same to Onyango’s account.
Mr Onyango in a telephone call to the Commission confirmed receipt of the money.
