As part of enhancing the capacity of public officers on complaints handling and good governance, the Commission on Administrative justice trained the management of the Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KENGEN)
The three-day training workshop in Nairobi, carried out on 27th to 25th June, 2018, was focused on enhancing the capacity of the officers on effective public complaints management, access to information and alternative dispute resolution. The training brought together the officers drawn from all the KENGEN stations around the country.
The Commission builds capacity of public officers on complaints handling and good governance and provides technical support to public institutions to establish complaints handling infrastructure. Additionally, the Commission is responsible for the indicator “Resolution of public complaints” under the Performance Contracting Framework. In this regard, public institutions submit quarterly reports detailing complaints received and action taken.
